As a foreigner, can I buy a house in North Cyprus?

Yes. Foreign nationals can purchase property in Northern Cyprus. The purchase process is registered with the state and the purchase is secured under the English legal system.

How do title deed transactions and property transfer work?

After the sales contract is signed, the contract is approved by the tax office and registered in your name by placing a lien on the title deed. The entire process is followed step by step by The Golden Nest Co. consultants.

Do I need to get a residence permit?

No. You do not need a residence permit to invest in real estate in Northern Cyprus. However, if you wish, you can apply for a long-term residence permit after the title deed.

How do payment plans work? Is the down payment sufficient?

In projects, contracts are usually signed with a 35% down payment. The remaining amount can be completed with flexible payment plans during the project and within 1 year after delivery. Interest is not applied or is at a very low level.

When does rental income start and how is it received?

After delivery, your property is ready to be rented. It can be rented for short term (tourist) or long term (student, employee). The Golden Nest Co. can also manage this process on your behalf.
